Fun Facts about Caroline Arnold

–was born in Pennsylvania but grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she loved to ice skate in winter and swim in summer.

–tried to read all the books in the public library when she was in fifth grade. (She missed a few.)

–loves to travel and has been to all the continents of the world except Antarctica.

–has written more than 170 books for children.

–is an avid bird-watcher, and writes about condors, sparrows, ostriches, penguins, and even chickens.
