ALA: Upcoming Signing in the Capstone Booth, Sat. June 27, 10am

I will be autographing my book A Day and Night in the Forest in the Capstone Booth #3118 at the American Library Association convention in San Francisco at the Convention Center, Saturday, June 27th at 10:00 am in the Exhibit Hall.

I have been writing for children since 1980 and am the author of more than 170 books, both fiction and nonfiction. I am also an illustrator. My newest titles include my memoir (for adults) Settlement House Girl, My Friend from Outer Space, Keeper of the Light: Juliet Fish Nichols Fights the San Francisco Fog, Planting a Garden in Room 6, Butterflies in Room 6, Hatching Chicks in Room 6, Living Fossils, Clues to the Past and four books in the Caroline Arnold's Habitats series: A Day and Night in the Rain Forest, Desert, Prairie, and Forest. Other recent titles include Too Hot? Too Cold? Keeping Body Temperature Just Right and A Warmer World: From Polar Bears to Butterflies, How Climate Change Affects Wildlife, A Polar Bear’s World, illustrated with my own cut paper art, now republished as a board book, Wiggle and Waggle, five stories about two hardworking worms, and The Terrible Hodag and the Animal Catchers, a tall tale which won the Parents’ Choice Gold Award are two of my fiction books.
